The outfit of the day....

And the outfit of the day, at least for now, comes to us from Lori and Skitch! We put it on for our trip to day care today. We had to stop by to drop off her pack n' play, bottles etc. so that she would be ready for her first day on Monday, so I decided to dress her up! Thank goodness for Baby Legs, they are like tights but with out the crotch and they are so warm and cute! We have about 6 or 7 different designs. Oh and they will be perfect for when she starts crawling. Yikes!

Reading with Daddy

We've been reading to Maddie the past few weeks, and I thought it was about time we capture the moment. Here are Daddy and Maddie reading "Brown Bear" the other night.

Once again here we are at tummy time, except this time it was actually a success! Maybe she isn't holding herself up yet, but at least she didn't suck on her fist the entire time! YAY!

This past weekend we had the pleasure of going to Sarah and Mark's Wedding! And it was amazing! Both the Bride and the Groom looked stunning, and the reception was absolutely amazing! Here are some photos from the weekend.

Tummy Time?!?

I've tried to be a good mother, really I have, but Maddie absolutely hates tummy time! And, I hate making her do it. But reluctantly I still try to do it a few times with her a day. Inevitably it ends with her sucking on her fist on the floor. One day she'll like it...she'll see. BTW, her eyes still seem pretty blue, maybe they'll stay that way?



Here's a good photo of how Brad usually ends up on the couch. Maddie in one spot, and Hanna curled up in the other. He can barely move half the time!

You Would've Thought....

You would've thought we bought this for Hanna! Any time that Maddie isn't playing in it, Ms. Hanna can be found nestled up on this play mat. It's really pretty funny!

Playtime is Tiring!

Madeline has gotten into the habit of having her bottle and then staying awake and playing for anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half. I found her passed out in her pack n' play this morning after playing with her "Friends." Who knew playtime could be so tiring?!?

Channeling my inner Goddess

So in just a few weeks we have Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mark's wedding! And to boot, Maddie is going to be the flower girl! That said, I knew Miss. Madeline had to be appropriately dressed, we found the outfit, but we were still missing something. And then, voila! I found these amazingly cute headbands and hats on line. They are too cute, now all we have to decide is which one to wear for the big day?!?! We got the blue one to match the color scheme, but the other ones are all so cute! Maybe we'll let Aunt Sarah decide.

This weekend was exhausting, and by Sunday evening Mom and I could barely keep our eyes open. Dad propped me up against Mommy and here I slept, it was quite comfy! Don't worry Daddy was right next to me, well except for when he took the photo.

DEER!!!!

This morning while I was feeding Maddie, we had four deer come through our back yard! It was amazing! I yelled for Brad to get into the living room and he caught this photo of 2 of the 4 that passed through. We have state game lands about 300 yards away from our house, but our house is in the middle of a neighborhood. They must have been very lost...Very! They were so beautiful, and again it was so awesome to see!



Then of course I had to get a few new photos of Maddie up! Here she is in her cute new outfit! The top we found at Gabe's and the new mismatch trumpette socks are courtesy of Aunt Joyce! SO cute!
