Yesterday was Madeline's 10 Month Birthday! I snapped a few photos, but I didn't get a chance to post them, so here they are. I got the best photo on the first try, who knew? Though we did do a bit of playing in the chair as well, Maddie proceeded to stand up, crawl, and do everything past smile for the camera once I got that one photo. And we finally ended it with trying to read a book. Thanks Grandma Ayres for the cute top!
Happy 10 Months! She looks like such a big kid doesn't she?
Haley and Olivia came to join us for dinner the other night. They were so good and the girls loved playing with "baby Madeline." Brad snapped this cute photo of the three of them.
In just the past few days I found just a few of my favorite things that to me signal FALL is upon us! My most favorite season ever...among those few things are Mums, Pumpkin spice coffee creamer, marshmallow Hershey's pumpkins, and a cute Pumpkin Hat for Maddie (I can feel the pumpkin pie Blizzards are just around the corner!!!) She came home from the hospital in a pumpkin hat, so it seemed only fitting that I get her a new pumpkin for this fall. I LOVE IT!
Maddie was in the middle of having a bit of a tantrum tonight, which really only lasted about 2 minutes, and me being the good mom that I am took out my camera to capture a few photos. I figured I had better get some of this for our records. I think my picture taking only made her even more mad. LOL.
Mooooommmm, what? MOOOOOMMMMM! Pick me up! What are you doing?!?!
Hiking up Tussey Mtn., has always been something that Brad and I love to do. We are HUGE outdoor, and mountain people, in fact, it's what we did the morning before we got engaged! Well, we finally got Maddie out for her first hike up Tussey the other day. It was gorgeous, and it made me realize how much I miss these walks. Hopefully we'll be able to get back out there soon. Maybe next time we'll have a hiking back pack for Maddie and we can go off the beaten path a bit more.

Happy girl, I swear she loves it outside as much as we do!
I found Maddie this cute swim suit at Target the other day for $2.50. Yes, you read that right, so she decided to do a few modeling photos for us at the pool the other day. So cute!
She's big on standing on her own now, and was determined to keep doing it in the water, even though she went under a few times.
Smile! Okay, maybe not. Still cute.
Had to get a shot from the back. I love those chubby legs!
Well, Madeline has been trying to get to the water in the dog bowls for quite some time. And, since I had the camera out the other day I figured I might as well let her go at it...at least I could document it. So here she is, finally getting to play in the dog bowl. Though this might not have been the best idea. I went down stairs to the basement to get Maddie the other morning and she must have slipped away from Brad. I found her and her PJs completely soaked in water. I think she had her whole body in the water bowl. What can I say, the girl loves the water.
Sneaky little face, she knows she shouldn't be doing this. And Miss. Hanna is wondering what the heck Maddie is doing in her water???
Today is our second wedding anniversary! It's truly amazing. I have had the most wonderful past two years, and if you would have told me two years ago that I would have a little girl, I probably would have laughed at you. But, I do. I have the most amazing, beautiful and healthy little girl that any parent could have ever dreamed of. So, on our 2nd wedding anniversary, I am not only thankful for my wonderful husband, who is always there with his support, love and encouragement, but for my beautiful little Madeline.
Sunday was Brad's birthday. We spent most of the day at the pool and then hung out at the house for the rest of the evening enjoying our blizzards! They were a good substitute for cake. :) Earlier in the day Madeline and I gave Brad his gifts. Below is a photo of the frame we did for him. Maddie and I had an impromptu photo shoot last week and the photos turned out really cute! I think Dad liked it. Now we just have to find somewhere to hang it!
Lots of photos here, so brace yourselves! HA. We finally made a trip down to Richmond this past weekend to visit Sarah and Mark! After what seemed like spending the entire day in traffic, we finally arrived in Richmond and promptly headed out for a great Italian Dinner at Ido Squid (SP?). It was FAAAAABULOUS! The nest day we geared up and after a nice walk headed out to visit some of the wineries in Charlottesville (Barboursville, Jefferson, and Kluge). They were just as beautiful as they were tasty! It was a great weekend even though it was about 100 degrees...HOT, HOT, and HOTTTTT! Thanks to Sarah and Mark for their great hospitality!
Maddie learned how to crawl up a step while at Aunt Sarah and Uncle Marks!
Sharing Puffs with Aunt Sarah.
Look at what I can do!!!
Family photo at the outdoor mall "playground." The water fountains are definitely something Maddie will enjoy playing in next year!
Posing in front of the massive wine bottles at our first stop! Barboursville winery (I think).
Maddie LOVED the horses outside!
Group photo at Jefferson's Monticello winery! So goooooood!
Who is that guy in the background?!? Oh wait, it's my husband! Nice.

This photo just cracks me up! Clearly, Maddie was having a blast.
Yes, I am still catching up on posting photos from when Sarah and Mark visited with Maddie. So I am finally posting some photos of them at the pool! Maddie got to make the trip to the new pool down the street with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mark, and it looks like they had a great time. If only Brad and I could make it there with her. *Sigh*
Had to post these two photos of Maddie. One of her passed out on Mark and one of her passed out on Sarah...she looks comfy!
