Love this girl

Some of the recent photos I snapped of her after just waking up on her birthday. I love these photos, messy hair and all.

38 Weeks

Yes, today marks 38 weeks. I'm feeling pretty good, and as long as Miss. Avery holds out for the rest of today, she may come whenever she likes starting at 12:01 a.m. November 1st. Ha. Having some decent contractions, but so far nothing to get too worked up about. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we'll see what they have to say and will report back.

Belly: Just look at that photo...

Belly Button: Half in half out, and yes, noticeable in some shirts.

Stretch Marks: None yet, hoping to make it another 2 weeks with out it.

Weight Gain: I was up to about 25 lbs the other day, but when I got on the scale this morning, I was back down to 23...I'm sure I'll get to 25 though.

Boy or Girl: GIRL. Avery Quinn. Another 10 hours or so and you may come whenever you like :)

Feeling: Ready!

Cravings: Very thirsty.

Sleep:Yes, I get to do this sometimes...you get my drift.

Energy: Energy is pretty good for most of the day, but starts to decline immensely in the late afternoon.

Baby: Baby girl is around 6-8lbs and the size of a watermelon! Yikes!

Happy Halloween!!

Last night we carved our pumpkin that we picked out at the farm. Trick-or-Treat is tonight, so we had to make sure we were ready! It is a thick pumpkin, so Brad did most of the carving. Madeline requested a cat pumpkin, whether or not this pumpkin looks like a cat is yet to be seen. At one point Madeline told us it looks like an Owl. You be the judge. We're not the best pumpkin carvers in the world, but we'll try anything for Miss. Madeline.

Our pumpkin!

Just getting started...

Checking out the pumpkin seeds we then roasted. Madeline disliked the inside of the pumpkin and quickly said "Yucky."

Our cat? It has wiskers on the sides, but you can't really see it too well in this photo. I'm afraid the ears look more like devil horns. Oh well.

S-N-O-W in October

Yes, as everyone now knows, we got our first snow of the season on Saturday, much to my dismay. I am hoping that after this nice little snow it will hold off at least until December. This year I am not in the mood for it...not at all. Ugh. Madeline however had a fabulous time. She loooooved the snow and could not wait to get out and enjoy it. Thankfully most of it is already melted.

All bundled up, Thank goodness we bought most of her snow gear last year! We still need boots though, so she was in her rain boots. Madeline was happy either way, snow boots or not.

Helping daddy get rid of the rest of our summer flowers.

Making snow angels!

So happy!

And making our little snow man. She keeps asking where he went?

Our spider pumpkin in the snow :(

BirthDay No. 3

Madeline's Third Birthday was a big one! The biggest one yet :) Not only did she get to have her birthday princess playdate, she also got to celebrate at school with her friends, we took in more princess crown cookies to share, she got to play on tumblebus, and then we did gifts at home, dinner at her favorite restaurant (Chic-fil-A), and concluded with cake at home. All-in-all I would say it was a pretty great birthday for this little gal. Looking forward to celebrating many more.

Avoiding having to wake up.

All dressed and ready for her big day!

Breakfast; her favorite chocolate muffing served with her new princess plate, bowl, cup and silverware.

Opening gifts! Starting with some new princess crowns and wand, which she affectionately calls her "twinkle, twinkle little star wand."

Her birthday wouldn't be complete without a motorcycle from Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mark. :)

Opening her new Strawberry Shortcake gifts from Momma and Daddy. Loved it.

Getting some help from Hanna.

Happy Birthday Madeline!

Happy Third Birthday Madeline Grace!

Three years ago today, at this very moment, labor with my Madeline was starting, though I really had no idea until around noon. We headed into the hospital around 3:30 p.m. and she arrived at 8:01 p.m. on Monday, October 27th, a healthy 7lb 5.5 oz, 19.5 in. beautiful little girl, and she stole my heart from that moment, daddy's too I am sure. I had no idea then just how much this little lady would change my life. Every smile, kiss, tear or new milestone that we reach together is a moment that I never knew would be so incredibly amazing. I rush to get her from daycare and when I see that smile, everything is better. Granted we do have our moments of tantrums and tears, but I'll take those any day over a day with out my Madeline.

So Madeline, from "the first time I ever saw your face," I fell in love with you. I cannot wait to see what these next few years bring.

Sleepy Newborn Madeline.

Sleepy Madeline and Daddy on Christmas morning. Still one of my favorites.

Happy Six Months!

Toothy grin for her one-year photo shoot.

Chubby beach legs at one-and-a-half.

A big two-year-old and all dressed up.

My beautiful girl today. Happy 3rd Birthday Madeline!

PSU Trick-or-Treat

Last night we headed to trick-or-treat night at the Penn State All Sports Museum! The kids get dressed up in their Halloween best and get to go through the museum getting candy from all different athletes! This was the third year this has been going on and it's getting more and more popular...we luckily ran into Olivia and Isabel who kindly let us hop in line with them, other wise we would have waited at least 40 minutes to get in! There was still a loooonnnng line when we came out 45 minutes later. Yikes!

Cinderella dressed and ready to go! Check out the shoes, yes they light up. :) Special thanks to Grammy Ayres for running back to the Disney store and getting us the right size!

Olivia and Madeline...so excited!

Isabel. I don't think they come any cuter than this?

Checking out the Nittany Lion Statue.
I love that I caught Madeline mid-jump...she really was this excited.

A hug between friends.

Gettin' the goods.

Candy from the track and field girls!

And from the gymnasts...Aunt Sarah I tried to get Madeline to pose with the girls gymnasts, but she would not have anything to do with it. Suddenly she became shy and stuck close to momma. :/

Kurpeikis girls with the cheerleaders and Nittany Lion!

Madeline's turn!

And at the end of the night all this girl wanted was a seat and a blue lollipop to match her dress. I kid you not.

Pumpkin Picking

On Saturday we headed out in the chilly weather to Way Fruit farm to pick our pumpkin! It was pretty breezy and muddy, but Madeline still had a blast.

Hanging around while we wait for the tractor ride out to the pumpkin patch!

Fun on the play tractor!

Daddy and Madeline scoping out the field as we pull up!

And we're off to find the perfect pumpkin!

We got it!

Madeline checking out the worms we found under a pumpkin. So neat.

What a beaut? All 22lbs of pumpkin for just $6.50 :)

Smile on this girls face after a fun morning at the pumpkin patch...priceless.
