We've had a very busy day so far! We got to visit a very special someone this morning, and Madeline got to open two presents, so far a baby doll and a puppy pillow pet, insert Madeline saying "Oh Boy!" We got back this afternoon and Madeline was pooped...so she decided to take a load off in Sadie's bed. We then watched "The Fantastic Mr. Fox," for the 100th time, fed the reindeer so that we can be sure Santa stops here, ate some dinner, had a surprise visit from Santa on top of a fire truck, two fire trucks actually and all decked out in lights, and a police escort to boot! I am exhausted just thinking about our day. Next up, skype with Mamaw and Papaw How, bed time for Madeline, and a glass of champagne for mommy. Oh and daddy and I get to put together one of Madeline's big gifts that we didn't think would arrive until after Christmas. Little did we know there would be a large box on our porch today. Make that several glasses of champagne for mommy. Ha.
On a side note, congratulations to Aunt Sarah and Uncle Mark who FINALLY closed on their house yesterday and are moving in as we speak. Yes, as we speak. No time like the present, even if it is Christmas Eve. Baby B could be here any day! Congrats you two, no one deserves it more. Enjoy your first night in your new house on Christmas Eve...magical.
