Happy Two Months Avery!

Happy two-month birthday to my baby girl. So much has happened in your first two months, I have lots to catch up on. You have your two-month check up next week, so we'll know your stats then, but in the mean time I'll fill you all in on some things Miss. Avery has been up to!

Avery you are our smiley girl.

You are getting better on playing on your own, though you still prefer to be held, preferably by mommy.

Nursing calms you down instantly and you love to nurse, you will take the bottle, but you don't really eat much from it.

You are eating every 1.5-3 hours during the day, every 3-4 at night.

You have awful gas, I mean clear the room gas.

Sleeping 3-4 hours at a time during the night. Much to mommy's dismay sleep regression hit and didn't go away :/ Maybe we will get those 6 hour stretches back soon.

You are a cat-napper during the day. Usually 30 minutes at the most.

You are getting much better at holding your head up.

Pushing off of mommy and daddy much more and loving standing.

When you can't get your pacifier back in your mouth you find your fingers to suck on (it's really quite cute).

Your eyes are still blue, we'll see if you get mommy's brown, stick with daddy's blue, or your sister's hazel.

You have a raging case of baby acne all over your face and down your back. Hence mommy has taken all of your clothes back out of your drawers and re-washed them in non-perfume detergent to make sure it's not an allergy. :(

Madeline adores you and loves to show you off, though sometimes she doesn't want me to feed you. This past week when we went through the drive through she shouted "Hey I have a baby sister now." I guess she thought the people at McDonalds and Dunkin' Donuts needed to know. :)
You experienced your first Saint Nicholas Day, Breakfast with Santa and Christmas! Though you slept through most of them.

You make our lives much brighter and happier than ever before.
