Happy Half Birthday Avery!

On Wednesday Miss. Avery Quinn turned 6 months old. WOW. Where does the time go? Our happy little girl is quickly on her way to one. *Sigh* My baby won't be a baby for much longer. So for now I will hold her, and rock her, and cuddle her while she lets me. Because I know that all too soon my baby won't be a baby and she'll be squirming to get down off of my lap.

At 6 months Avery is into a lot of new things! 

She is almost sitting up on her own, she still tumbles quite a bit, but I have a feeling she will be on her own soon. 

Avery is forever rolling over, and is starting to inch her way towards object she wants. 

She also has excellent hand eye coordination, ever since she was about 3 months old she's been able to find things in front of her and get them in her mouth. 

Size 3 diapers and almost completely out of all 3-6 month clothing and inching our way towards 6-9 and 9 month outfits. 

To celebrate your half birthday we tried rice cereal and she LOVED it. She was practically grabbing the spoon out of my hand and guiding it into her mouth! Maybe I'll have a good eater after all ;) 

Avery can go all night with out nursing, but by 4 or 4:30 a.m. you are ready for a bottle. 

 Has started to take an few naps in the morning and one longer nap (1-2 hrs) in the afternoon. Sometimes we even get in a good hour long nap in the morning too! Let's hope we get on a routine soon.

Have started on formula and is only nursing every now and then at night. 

She loves her sister, Avery's face completely lights up when Madeline comes over to say hello to her. 

As always we love Avery more and more each day and are truly blessed to have her in our lives.
