This weekend we traveled into Jersey City to visit Tina for her 30th birthday party. Granted, it was a very short trip, we got in on Saturday evening and left by Sunday morning, but it was so worth it! Madeline got to meet a lot of new friends. For starters, she finally got to meet Aunt Hope and Aunt Tina, and to top it all off she got to meet Ellie, Tina's baby, and Charlie, Mike's little boy. They are all such cuties!
It was a great weekend that unfortunately went way too fast. I miss my girls.

Please stop flaunting all of these other people getting to hang out with my Maddie. The drive to Richmond probably is as long as the drive to NJ AND I also turned 30. Ouch! JK -- looking forward to this weekend.

You try to keep a five-month-old awake past her bedtime and see how well that goes for you. If you are lucky she might still be awake, though bedtime is usually between 9 and 10:30 p.m.
