New Duds for next year

We scored some excellent deals on outdoor/snow gear for Madeline next year! Aunt Sarah started it by finding a winter coat for Madeline at an excellent buy (Columbia jacket for $14, originally $90! W-O-W). Then we found Madeline 3T ski pants and 3T fleece! She will be more than ready next year to get those skiis on her feet ;) Yup, Madeline is going to be a snow bunny like her Momma and Daddy!

Hugging doggie while showing off new jacket.

I told her to put her arms out so we could "see" the jacket and not the doggie. Hey, at least she listened :)

So much Fun!

On Friday Madeline and Olivia had their own playdate. Everyone else was sick with the flu or a stomach bug that was going around. The girls still managed to have a little bit of fun with each other. Who am I kidding, it doesn't take much. All I have to do is mention Olivia and Madeline gets incredibly excited. She always gives her a big hug as soon as she walks in the door. So sweet.

We were sooooo excited for Olivia to arrive that we had to get a water read for "O," and carry it around with us until she arrived. :)

Being told to say "Cheese," while having snacks.

Being told to say "Cheese," while crafting...too much work.

Now this is concentration!
In case you wondered, we were decorating Easter Eggs!

Being silly on the couch after lunch.

10 Inches

I wanted to updated you all on our snow fall we recieved on Sunday night into Monday. Our grand total of snow that we recived was 10 inches, not 5 or 6 inches like I had thought. Oh, and we're getting more today. I think Mr. Groundhog was waaaaaaaaaaaaaay off in his prediction of an early spring. Darn it!

Crafting to be a princess

The other week Madeline and I spent some time crafting a princess crown for her out of flowers and "butterpies." Madeline looooooves stickers and loved making her new crown. It was a hit!

The fun stuff before we got started.

Sooo excited!

Busy crafting.

Finshed product...I love how she topped each point on her crown with a "butterpie."

Snow Part II

Madeline and I made a quick stop into her daycare this morning to pick up her snow pants so that she could really get some good playtime with the snow. She had a blast jumping and falling down into the big piles of snow. :)

More snow :(

We got another 5-6 inches of snow last night, and I can't say that anyone is happy about it. Well, maybe Madeline was. It started as a 50 degree day yesterday, then by 3 p.m. we had a full on snow storm. Ugh. The good news is that it's bright and sunny today and melting quickly!

Sunday afternoon.

Sunday evening.

Monday morning.

SNOW!

Loving the snow.

Madeline's First Sleepover

This past week Madeline had her first sleepover! Olivia was kind enough to host Madeline for the evening while mommy and daddy went to the Big Apple to see David Gray in concert! We had a fabulous 16 hours (not kidding) in the city, and from the photos and the videos it sounds like Madeline had a blast too! She ate well, she slept well and she listened. I guess I have been doing something right! ha. A big thank you to Olivia, her sister Isabel, and Olivia's Mommy and Daddy for watching her. We cannot thank you enough!

Madeline and Olivia reading their "My first sleepover" book after bath and before bedtime.

Such a good book!

Waiting to go into open gym the next day.

Miss. Isabel playing along :) Such a cutie!

Here is a clip of the girls enjoying their dinner. :) Makes me smile.

60 Degree day in February!?!?

About a week and a half ago when we had two 60 degree days in a row, Madeline and I decided to hit the streets :) It was a bit windy, but being out for 40n minutes was heaven! We throughly enjoyed our walk! We found lots of things on the ground, did some running and even waved hellow to a school bus, which Madeline Loves! She always sees them and promptely points them out "Momma, Bus! Hi Bussss, Wuv you!" and then blows a kiss to the bus. This hasn't happened once, it ALWAYS Happens. So cute. :) "Wuv You! Madeline!"

The look of, you've got to be kidding me! It's soooo nice out momma!

Running up and down our street! Such Joy :)

We found lots of leaves.

Waved hello and blew a kiss to a schoolbus!

Found a hydrangia blossom that made it through the winter, and LOOOOOOVED it!

More love for the Hydrangia blossom.

Timothy Makes me Laugh

Timothy doesn't know this yet, but we aren't supposed to give people the "finger." Geeze you would think his mom would teach him some manners! Ha! I laughed out loud when Sarah sent us this one :) Good one Tim, good one!

Atlas Therapy

I can't beleive I didn't post on this earlier, but needless to say, things have been a bit crazy. In December Brad and I along with three other partners finally opened the doors to our new PT Clinic, Atlas Therapy! It's been in the works for the past 2 years or so, and to finally have to doors open is a great feeling!

We are a Physical Therapy clinic designed to help treat head, neck, and jaw pain. Especially those who think they suffer from TMJ. We are hands on, treating with MANUAL stimulation of the muscles in the mouth etc. Working hand-in-hand with dentists and physicians we are creating a new way to treat people who have suffered for years with no relief. And we're already seeing great results. New patients are scheduling daily and everyone is leaving happy! Check out our web site and pass along the word if you know any one who might be interested!

Beautiful Baby Boy

Timothy had his professional photos taken a few weeks ago, and I had to show him off! Check out those eyes! They are all so adorable, I think I have to order them all! Click on the image to see it larger.

Valentine's Day

We had a fabulous Valentine's this year. No flowers, no chocolates, but lots of love! Who could ask for more? While I spent the afternoon working at the office, Madeline was enjoying her Valentine's day at school! They all exchanged Valentines, I think Madeline's was a hit! And then we enjoyed the rest of the evening together!

All dressed up and ready for school!
Don't you love the tights?

Daddy always gets the smiles. :)

We got our Valentine from Madeline that afternoon! It couldn't be cuter!

Madeline had to model her new sunglasses before we left for school...Supermodel....Ha.

Valentine's Complete!

Madeline has to bring in her very first-ever Valentine's to school on Monday, and instead of buying the store bought ones I decided to make our own! For one, it saved us money...I already had the paper, and I created the design, and I got the M&M packs on sale with, of course, coupons! So 30 cuts, punch, and bows later they are complete! And I don't think they could be any cuter! We will have to see who is lucky enough to make Madeline's Valentine list...

Happy Valentine's Day! You're the cherry on top!

We topped our Valentine with M&Ms, Madeline's favorite treat!

Thirsty Tinkerbell

I had one thirsty little tinkerbell on my hands the other night! Generally she does very well when drinking from a big girl cup, but that night she missed. We'er getting there. Oh, and incase you were wondering. Yes, she wore the tinkerbell costume ALL afternoon...Grocerystore and all. :)

Pajama Day!

Today was wear your Pajama day to school, and bring your favorite bed time story! I think it was a fabulous day, mostly because Madeline fell asleep in my arms while reading to her before nap. I cannot remember the last time she has done this, but it was better than any present on Christmas morning. Love it. Love her.

A photo with chapstick of course, yes we are still obsessed!
I try to keep them hidden, so we don't have the tantrum when we have to take the chapstick away.

I've got a man in my nose

This is what I get when I try to take a picture of me and Madeline. Lovely.
