We had a great Father's Day...Woke up nice and late. Ms. Hanna enjoyed some needed cuddle time with Brad and then the girls insisted on giving Brad his new father's day gift. Since Brad lately has been the one getting up first, he has been letting the girls out in the morning. So, Hanna and Sadie thought it was due time for dad to get his own robe, I say his own, b/c he has been borrowing mine as of late. So Brad got a nice new navy blue terry robe to wear so that we don't scare any of the neighbors.Brad also got his first father's day gift from the baby! A nice Diaper Dude bag. Baby helped me pick it out and said dad would enjoy it since it's more like a messenger bag, and less like a bright, girlie diaper bag mom would be likely to get. I think Brad liked it.
Once gifts were over, we had blueberry pancakes out on the patio, and took the girls on a walk. Brad headed over to the club to hit some golf balls before we met our friends Heather, Mike and their little boy Jake at the pool. It was great weather! After the pool Heather, Mike and Jake were kind enough to invite us over to enjoy dinner at their nice new house. It was a great ending to a great day.
