Thrilled.

Madeline appeased me and let me take some photos of her the other day before school. Doesn't she look thrilled?

This one is better though. Madeline and Momma :)

Gettin' Crafty

I've discovered quite a few new blogs that I am in love with lately, and many of those have inspired me to get my craft on. Ha. No really, there have been a lot of things I've wanted to get or do, but haven't had the money or wanted to spend the money. One of those things is fabric flowers. They are so adorable and incredibly easy to make, so this weekend I gave it a go...

Project number one: New hair clips for Madeline, I'll be doing these in headbands too!  So cute and easy! Plus Madeline really liked helping me with it.

Project two: Fabric flower bloom neckalce. I've seen these in stores before and they cost about $20 or more. I made this one for about $3. We then made another one to send to Aunt Sarah. :)

Project three: Fabric rosette flowers. I looooove this! These sell for at least $17 on Etsy. I'll be making these as hair pieces for Madeline too!

I would have to say that these projects are a success!

Bubble baths are the best!

This past weekend the weather was down right cold, 45 degrees on Saturday, and 38 on Sunday morning. Yikes! So Madeline spent Saturday morning getting a nice long bubble bath in the big tubby and then she got a pedicure. Love Saturday mornings like this, minus the cold. Brrrrr.

Loving the bubbles!

Then we turned on the jets and almost lost Madeline! Yikes! :)

Making silly faces.

All clean and ready for our pedicure to begin!

Thrilled with her newly painted piggies :)

34 Weeks

As of yesterday I am 34 Weeks, and with that we had our 34 week doctor's apt. Today we got to meet with another friend and doctor of ours Liz Raquet. It really is so much nicer being able to meet with a friend. Everything looks good so far, my blood pressure, weight, measurements, and baby's heart rate are right on track. Whew. Now if only we could make these next 6 weeks fly by! Our next appointment is in two weeks and then we move to our weekly appointments. The end is in sight!

Belly: Large. Enough said.

Belly Button: Half in half out, though not quite so noticeable in clothing

Stretch Marks: Still nada, keep your fingers crossed

Weight Gain: 20lbs, maybe more. I think I'll stop checking this. Ugh.

Boy or Girl: GIRL. Avery Quinn. :)

Feeling: Getting excited to meet Miss. Avery. Though my sciatica and overall pain seem to get in the way most days. Cannot wait for all of this pain to go away.

Cravings: Not really craving anything right now...

Sleep: Sleeping well in between my hourly runs to the loo. Mrrrr.

Energy: Energy is pretty good for most of the day, but starts to decline immensely in the late afternoon.

Baby: Baby girl is around 5lbs and is the size of a cantaloupe. Only 41 more days to go, give or take a few.

Stamping gone awry

This is what happens when you one: have a rainy day two: no daddy at home for the evening and three: leave an almost three-year-old alone with stamps for two minutes. Thank goodness they are washable with soap and water because we still had grocery shopping to do after this!

So proud of no longer stamping the paper, but stamping all the way up and down her arms and face.

Giving mommy the full view.

Still adorable, even covered in stamps.

DelGrosso's Amusement Park

This past Sunday we took Madeline to DelGrosso's Amusement Park in Tipton. It's only about a 20 minute drive, and since it was the last day the Park would be open and it was beautiful out, we decided to head on over. Even though we were only there for about an hour or so, Madeline had a blast and hit up a bunch of the kiddie rides.

33 Weeks

I am glad that I took this photo yesterday. I had all intentions of waking up early this morning and getting work done. It was not meant to be. I did wake up early, up and showered by 6 am. However, I was feeling a bit off since I got up, so I decided to dump my coffee and drink some tea. Half way into my cup of tea and my pre-recorded Nate Burkus show, I made a mad dash for the sink and well, you guessed it. Yup, the morning sickness came back with a vengeance this morning. Ugh. Thankfully, it's now 8 a.m. and I am feeling a bit better. Thank goodness, Madeline and I have lots to do today!

Last time I'll be fitting into this pre-pregnancy shirt...I think I almost popped a button wearing it!

Belly: Constantly running into things with it or closing doors on it. Though it's proving a great resting spot for my kindle or magazine while reading :) Plus Madeline apparently really enjoys using it!

Belly Button: Half in half out, though not quite so noticeable in clothing

Stretch Marks: Not yet!

Weight Gain: I think 20lbs? :/

Boy or Girl: GIRL. Avery Quinn. :)

Feeling: My back is always in so much pain it's unbelievable.

Cravings: Cottage cheese with strawberries and cinnamon. Apples/fruit.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty okay.

Energy: Holding steady, not exhausted, but with the tiresome and achy back, it makes it difficult to muster any extra energy.

Baby: Baby girl is a little over 4lbs, and getting lower and lower. I guess that's good? Ha.

Penn State Go!

Before we headed to the apple farm, we had a stop to make at TJ Maxx, and we simply couldn't pass up the cute pumpkin tutu :)

My pumpkin, and her new pumpkin tutu!

Showing off the new tutu. Matches nicely with the pink Penn State shirt no?

Then it was time for lunch and a little cheering for our Nittany Lions! Penn State go!

Apple Farm Prep 2011

Saturday was a busy day for Madeline. Daddy was in a meeting for a good bit of the morning, and after running a few errands, we decided to make a stop at the local apple farm, Harner's. We pass this "apple farm" as Madeline calls it almost daily and every day she wants to visit the apple farm. She has her school trip scheduled at another apple farm for Tuesday, so I figured it would be a good stop for the morning.

After picking out "her" pumpkin, she insisted on the use of a cart and pulling it herself.

Time to find some decorations for the house!

Counting and arranging her pumpkins.

Paying a visit to the horsey!

"So this is a goat huh?" They stunk!

Having some time to play in the little house. She could have played here all day long.

Finally, a few poses with our apple and pumpkin. It's an annual thing now :)

Golf with Daddy

Madeline capped off her Saturday evening with a little golf game with daddy! It was the first time Brad took her golfing, and they hit up the new nine at the club. She did great, and would have done even better if it wasn't around dinner time. He said her attention started to wane around the 5th hole. Anyway, she had a blast and is now asking to golf with daddy every day and for her birthday. :)

Stepping up to the green!

Look at that form!!!

Putting the "bump" to good use

At least Madeline is making good use of my bump. Can't say it's the most comfortable thing in the world, but hey, it's as close to me as she can get now-a-days. :(

Taking in a movie...

Realizing mommy is taking photos...

Putting on her "drama" face for the camera.

32 Weeks and Doctor's Appointment

Today I had my 32 week doctor's appointment. Things are still looking great; my blood pressure was 100/70, baby's heart rate was in the 130s, no swelling, measuring right on time and no weight gain this week (I doubt that will hold still). I'm feeling much better than last week's post. Most of my cold is gone, no more medicine necessary and I'm finally (knock on wood), able to sleep well again. Let's hope this continues through the next 50+ days.

Belly: Getting bigger every day, it's hard to stand up and roll over. It makes me even more motivated to get back in shape after baby arrives. How do those big people live like this? I'm miserable!!!

Belly Button: Half in half out, though not quite so noticeable in clothing

Stretch Marks: Not yet!

Weight Gain: 18 lbs

Boy or Girl: GIRL. Avery Quinn. :)

Feeling: Physically exhausted.

Cravings: Cottage cheese with strawberries and cinnamon. I'm eating this stuff daily, some times twice a day. The fruit craving is coming on strong again.

Sleep: Sleeping pretty well these days and enjoying it!

Energy: Holding steady, not exhausted, but with the tiresome and achy back, it makes it difficult to muster any extra energy.

Baby: Baby girl is around 4lbs and is the size of a honeydew :)

Sprinkle!!!

This past weekend, me and both of my girls were "sprinkled" and spoiled with love from our family. My mom and sisters, along with Brad's mom, drove all the way to State College on Saturday to spend some time with me. Since I already had a shower for Madeline, this little "Sprinkle" was perfect!

We started out the day with a trip to Target for Madeline to show Grammy what she wanted for her birthday, instead Grammy Howe spoiled Madeline with gifts (love those grandma's), lunch was up next at Madeline's favorite spot, Chic-Fil-A, where she literally squeeled with delight when we pulled in. Ha! After baby girl went down for a nap, Debbie (Grammy Howe), and I headed to the Spa where we met my mom and my sisters. It was so amazing. We did a few treatments and opened one too many gifts. After we stopped at home for a quick freshen up, and a chance for Grammy Ayres to give Madeline a few gifs as well...a new princess book and two new princess nightgowns. Madeline LOVED them as well! After we headed for a great dinner at Cozi Thai and ended with an amazing Cake that our friend Evan made. Sarah drove it all the way up from Richmond. Thank you so much Evan!! We are still eating the cake and the yummy cake balls!

I was incredibly spoiled and both of my girls were incredibly spoiled this weekend and I cannot thank my family enough. It really meant a lot. I didn't take any photos except for a few on my phone. So once I get them I'll post more.

The gorgeous cake! So beautiful and yummy!

My gorgeous flowers! Fresh flowers are a favorite of mine, but I never buy them, and these are so beautiful! So spoiled and so lucky!
