Nature walk

Yesterday Madeline and I went on a nature walk in our neighborhood. We looked at all of the new fall colors on the trees, enjoyed the crisp cool air, even got to run into some friends, but most of all, we enjoyed our time together...our alone time, not sure how many more of these we will get to have. I loved seeing the excitement on her face when she found a new color leaf, a pine cone or a flower. Life at it's best yesterday on our walk. Simple.

Smiling for momma.

Picking out a leaf to add to her collection...fear not, most were collected from the already fallen leaves.

Gathering her goodies into her bag and hopping back into the wagon to continue our walk.
Love.

So jealous. Can't wait to see "my Maddie" again.

Such great photos Amanda!! She's adorable! Did you make those cushions for her wagon?? They are super cute! I'd love to try to make some of those for Owen's wagon. Did you use a pattern, or just wing it? PS> I forgot to comment on your beautiful hair clips you made for Maddie! Love them!

Uncle Mark, yes, "My picture, My Mark," and Sarah just gets to "buy all the stuff for me." Lol.

Jenn, Thanks so much! My sister actually made the cushions for me when she gave us the wagon at my baby shower! Yikes, 3 years ago. However, if you just measure the seats and then add an inch to the measurements, you should be able to do it easily. :) The hair clips are so fun and easy! We'll have to get some made for Vivi!
